A slender crown and reflective light brown enamel distinguish MEG329, a 102 x 68mm Megalodon tooth from North Carolina. Fine serrations remain along stretches of both edges with a strongly textured, two-lobed root.
The enamel carries long, fine fissure lines, with local peeling at the edges. Natural edge flaws interrupt the serrated outline, and the tip is rounded. The root has pronounced pitting, an elongated depression and a curved fissure near its basal notch. This natural tooth has no repairs and was sourced directly from North Carolina divers.
